Amy Thomas is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with more than 20 years’ experience leading strategic and results-driven marketing, communication and branding strategies for both healthcare and consumer sectors.
She oversees the creative and execution strategy for marketing and advertising for Urgent Team’s family of brands, as well as community and media relations. Thomas is skilled at leveraging social and digital strategies to drive customer awareness and volume. Additional expertise includes developing brand integration with health system joint ventures and providing marketing intel regarding the acquisition and de novo planning.
Prior to joining Urgent Team in 2015, Thomas served as senior communications manager with Community Health Systems for 12 years. CHS, one of the nation’s leading operator of hospitals, serves many non-urban markets similar to Urgent Team.
Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and a master’s degree in healthcare management from Lipscomb University in Nashville, graduating Delta Mu Delta. She is a member of the Nashville Healthcare Council and the Urgent Care Association of America.
