Fort Oglethorpe, GA, (August 22, 2022) – Physicians Care Walk-in Clinic has welcomed family nurse practitioner Varsha Whitmore, RN, FNP-C to the healthcare team in Fort Oglethorpe.
She joins Physicians Care from the CVS Minute Clinic in Atlanta, where they see more than 50 patients a day. Prior to that position, she served as a Charge Nurse/Floor Nurse in the 11-bed Emergency Department at Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA. Whitmore has also cared for critically-ill pediatric patients in the home care setting.
Whitmore earned a Masters of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She brings Fort Oglethorpe vast nursing experience in both hospital and urgent care settings, including working with children, adults, and critically-ill patients.
